The Phoenix String Quartet:  (2 violins, viola & cello) 
 
The string quartet is our signature ensemble and is our most requested ensemble.  A string quartet provides for comfortable background conversation and is an elegant addition to any affair.  There is also an incredible repertoire available.  A quartet is an ideal choice for weddings and receptions.

The Phoenix String Trio:
A string trio is often used for small intimate settings.  The addition of a lower strings to a duet adds a rich sound.  Most of our arrangements work well as a trio.   fee schedule

Duet: (usually 2 violins)

A duet is an elegant addition to any occasion.  We can provide you with any combination of string instruments, but the most requested duet is two violins.  Two violin parts may be pulled from most of our arrangements and will work well as a duet.   

In addition there is a large repertoire of standard duets written specifically for two violins.

Soloists:  Our musicians all perform as soloists.  We recommend a violin as your choice for a solo string instrument as there is much more music to choose from.  Pianists and Organists are also a nice choice and have an incredible repertoire available.

Large String Ensembles

String Octet:       
A string octet is a double quartet.  Two instruments on each part.  Ideal for large venues where more sound is required.  Corporate events, programs with dancers, outdoor venues.  All of our quartet repertoire is available for Octet.

Phoenix String Orchestra

A string orchestra is much less expensive than a full Symphony Orchestra.  There is a huge repertiore available for string orchestra.  It is an ideal choice for large venues where a full string sound is desired.
